Outwit the oracle.

Two doors, one oracle that predicts the pick. It commits in advance and learns with every door. Points only come from the door where it expects no one.

Coming soon to Google Play
Durchschaut on a phone: the oracle has predicted the left door, which is marked red and stamped as seen through; on the right a door worth 1 point.

The oracle looks at the left door, the right door opens with green light, below it an escape worth 6 points and a streak of three.
Escape: the other door scores points, streaks multiply them.
Result after a game: two of three stars, 18 of 25 doors, below it the player's own pattern in percent.
Your pattern: the result shows what gave the player away most.
List of oracles with names and descriptions, such as Apprentice, Mirror and Seer.
Eight oracles: each watches something different, such as greed, switching sides or rhythm.
Duel with a friend: the player is the oracle and guesses which door the friend took.
Read a friend: a code passes on the player's doors, with no account and no server.

Technology

A web game with no engine and no third-party libraries. It runs in the browser, as a web app and as an Android app.

How it is built

The oracle is a mix of small experts with a short memory, for example for greed, favourite side and rhythm. Whichever is currently right gets more weight. That makes the learning visible.

A simulation over many games checks the balance: random play lands at half, while reading the oracle's hints beats it clearly more often.

Sounds are generated in the browser, with no audio files. Capacitor packages the same files as an Android app.
