Overview

“Merger” is a single-player number puzzle (package name de.timobritz.merger). The app does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. It contains no advertising, no tracking, no analytics tools and no third-party software that collects data. There is no user account and there are no in-app purchases. I do not operate any servers of my own for this app.

Data that stays on your device

So that you can continue playing, the app stores your current game, your high score, a leaderboard of your ten best games and the sound setting exclusively locally on your device. This data does not leave the device and cannot be viewed by me. If you uninstall the app or delete its data, it is removed completely.

Permissions

The app uses your device’s vibration function for short haptic feedback while playing. No other permissions, such as location, camera or contacts, are requested.

Google services

When the app is downloaded via Google Play, Google processes data under its own terms. I have no influence on this. Details can be found in Google’s privacy policy.

Children

As no personal data is collected, the app is also safe for children to use.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. As I hold no data about you, in practice there is nothing to hand over; you can nevertheless contact the address above at any time with questions.

Changes

Should anything change in the data processing, for example through new features, I will update this policy beforehand and adjust the date above.
